Amman: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty, on the sidelines of the Arab ministerial committee meeting tasked with mobilizing international action in response to illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem. The meeting was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Wednesday.

According to African Press Organization, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation relations between Qatar and Egypt, along with discussions on the latest regional developments. Emphasis was placed on joint Arab coordination to address Israeli escalation in occupied Jerusalem and diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and bolster regional security and stability.

During the discussions, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy among all parties. He highlighted the implementation of agreements within the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, including ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and preserving regional security.

His Excellency reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at easing tensions and achieving a comprehensive agreement that promotes sustainable peace in the region.
