Saudi arabia: Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman has held a virtual meeting with Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Akazawa Ryosei to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination to support the stability and security of global energy markets. Discussions covered opportunities to expand cooperation in areas including energy supply chains, energy infrastructure, strategic storage, and investment. The ministers also agreed to establish a joint working group, which will begin its work soon to review proposals from both sides and explore further areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Japan, and other Asian partners in the energy sector.
