European stock indexes opened lower on tuesday: weighed by renewed concerns over the lofty valuations of technology and artificial intelligence companies. Among the major markets, Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt fell 1.15 percent, while Italy's FTSE MIB index in Milan declined 1.05 percent. France's CAC 40 index in Paris also posted a 0.95 percent loss, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London dropped 0.73 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decline comes amid growing investor skepticism about the sustainability of current valuations in the tech and AI sectors. Investors are increasingly cautious as these sectors have seen significant gains in recent months, prompting worries about potential corrections. The concerns have rippled across the European markets, contributing to the overall downward trend in major indexes.
